Ministries
At Lakeland Baptist Church, we are committed to helping every member of our congregation grow in faith, serve others, and experience the love of Christ through community. Our ministries are designed for all ages, from our youngest members to adults seeking deeper fellowship and spiritual growth.
Childcare
We offer childcare during Sunday worship for our youngest attendees, so parents can fully engage in the service while knowing their children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
Kid’s Club
Our Kid’s Club meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00–7:15 PM during the school year. This fun and engaging program is designed for children to learn about God’s Word, grow in faith, and build friendships in a safe, Christ-centered environment.
Adult Ministries
We provide opportunities for adults to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and serve the church and community. Our adult ministries include:
Bible Studies & Small Groups
Dive deeper into Scripture and discuss practical ways to apply God’s Word.
- Join the Ladies Bible Study at 1 PM on Tuesdays by contacting Joann.
Fellowship Opportunities
Gather with other adults for meals, service projects, and social events.
Prayer
Join in prayer ministries and support fellow members through life’s challenges.
Sunday Service at Iron County Medicare
Our church has a service at Iron County Medicare the second Sunday of the month. It begins at 2:30 pm in the willow wing. There is no evening service at the church then.
Live Nativity & Christmas in Lights Float
Each year, Lakeland Baptist Church joins the community celebration by building a float for the Christmas in Lights parade to share the true meaning of Christmas.
You are invited to a free walk-thru Live Nativity experience, where the story of Christ’s birth comes to life with live characters and animals. Each showing lasts 10 minutes, with a new presentation starting every 15 minutes.
Dates & Times:
- 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Dates will be posted here.
Bring your family and friends to experience the joy of Christmas in a memorable, interactive way!
Grand Prix
Join us for our annual Grand Prix, a one-day summer festival full of fun, excitement, and friendly competition! Participants race wedge cars down our custom-built track, with trophies awarded for winners in both adult and children’s races.
The day also includes a bounce house, free lunch, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
How to Participate:
- Stop by our table in the Iron County Fair rotunda to register and pick up a wedge car for your family to decorate before the race or contact the church directly.
This is a great opportunity to have fun, celebrate community, and share the joy of Christ with families in Iron County!
