Our Mission & Beliefs

Our Mission

At Lakeland Baptist Church, we exist to glorify God through faithful teaching of His Word, building strong and loving relationships within the body of Christ, and reaching the lost with the gospel.

We believe the church is called to proclaim the truth of Scripture, to grow together in faith, and to live out the hope we have in Jesus in our homes, community, and world.

Our Beliefs

The BIble

We believe the Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, given for teaching, correction, and guidance in every area of life.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to offer salvation to all who believe.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—not by works—according to the Scriptures.

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to gather for worship, grow in discipleship, serve one another, and share the good news of the gospel with the world.

The Great Commission

We believe Christ calls us to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20), beginning with our own community.
